Side effects of Ambien
All drugs may lead to negative effects, but many patients get no, or minor, negative effects. Check with your doctor if any of such most widespread unwanted effects persist or turn annoying while taking Ambien:
- diarrhea;
- faintness;
- tiredness (including daytime tiredness);
- "drugged" feeling;
- thirsty mouth;
- headache;
- sickness;
- nose or throat irritation;
- sluggishness;
- stomach trouble;
- powerlessness.
- severe hypersensitive reactions (rash; hives; itching; trouble respiration; tightness in the chest; swelling of the hands, legs, mouth, face, lips, eyes, throat, or tongue; throat closing; unusual hoarseness);
- anomal thinking;
- manners alterations;
- chest pain;
- bewilderment;
- reduced coordination;
- difficulty swallowing or respiration;
- fainting;
- quick or unbalanced heartbeat;
- hallucinations;
- memory problems (eg, memory loss);
- psychological or humor changes (eg, violent behavior, agitation, anxiety);
- new or worsening depressive disorder;
- severe lightheadedness;
- lack of breath;
- suicidal ideas or behavior;
- eyesight changes.
